2. Scope of this policy
The bce-monitoring.be website is essentially an informational site presenting the BCE Monitoring service. It contains no sign-up form. When you click to activate alerts, you are redirected to the Company Belgium platform, where the subscription (notably your e-mail address and filtering criteria) is collected and processed. That processing is governed by Company Belgium's own privacy policy. This policy covers only the processing carried out on bce-monitoring.be.
3. Data processed on this site
On bce-monitoring.be, we process a minimal amount of data:
- Technical connection data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, date/time) recorded in our host's logs, for security, abuse prevention and traffic statistics.
- Local preferences (e.g. light/dark theme choice) stored on your device via browser local storage; this data is not transmitted to our servers.
The site uses no advertising cookies or third-party tracking tools. See our Cookie policy.
4. Company data and natural persons
The service presents information from official public sources (BCE/KBO, Belgian Official Gazette). Some of this information may relate to natural persons (self-employed individuals, directors, founders). Its processing relies on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), namely providing economic and business-transparency information (B2B), and is carried out in line with the original purpose of publishing these registers. Data subjects have the rights described in section 8, including the right to object.
